Crash Team Racing Press Discs

Before a game was released, it was common practice for many games to have asset discs sent to the press for use in their own publications. These discs contained marketing material, such as high quality renders, screenshots or press documents. As expected, the Crash games were no different. Fortunately, not one, but four press discs have recently been successfully secured and are now available to everyone. In this video I briefly show off some of the content that you can find on the discs, including some lesserknown renders that didn t seem to be used very often. CTR Press Disc July 99: This disc includes screenshots, press documents, and a few low quality artwork renders. CTR HiRes Disc July 99: This disc includes high quality artwork renders of Crash and Cortex. CTR HiRes 1 August 99:
