Hex A Decimal : We questioned everything

This is a series of feelings I wanted to express rooting specifically to childhood pretransition experiences and sensations relating to a life fixated on rapidly switching television channels and movies and videogames and radio commercials looking for something resembling myself. It is an exploration in media collage dedicated to trans youth who have to consume entertainment in a world that was never built with us in mind and so we have to deconstruct those narratives and rebuild them in a way that makes sense to us. This album s content is a collection of interspliced media processed through both software and hardware sampling components, and while it appears chaotic and random at times, so too did my life when I was raised to exist in one specific context unaware of the possibilities of what or who I could be.
