Formerly one half of dnb production duo Basic Unit, his output as Natural Forces takes a much deeper and reflective tone exploring minimal liquid sounds, packed with the type of progression and intricate details that make his music a perfect fit for Dispatch Recordings. Title track Sense Memory is a reflective, minimal stepper built around filtered vocals and classic liquid funk elements. Reminiscent of that early Creative Source sound, this one almost sounds straight from the dancefloors of Swerve. Guiding things into tougher territory throughout the EP, Native Elements shows he knows how to work a bass synth just right, from the rolling Birthright to the abstract jazz fused jungle drums of Genesis via the heavyhitting Identity.
