We are starting a multi year, January 2022 through February 2026, Block of the Month to celebrate the Semiquincentennial of the USA that will happen in 2026 One block a month for four+ years to make this quilt a manageable project for a once in a lifetime celebration for The United States 250 years might seem young to our friends from all over the world but we re going to celebrate It s going to be a great scrappy block quilt This month we are celebrating the State of Iowa where we are located This block is known as the corn and beans block.
