Set in early 70s Greece, in a small provincial town, the film tells the story of Evdokia, a young prostitute, and George, a young soldier, who fall in love and get married, against the bias, conservatism and established values in the society where they live. However, it s difficult not to get crushed by reality. In this iconic scene, we can witness the first meeting between Evdokia and George during a powerful Zeimpekiko dance.
