I talk a lot about the 1 chord and the 4 chord, etc. If you re not familiar with that, here s a little breakdown: Musicians refer to how far the Root of the chord they re playing is from the Root of the song in numbers as it related the key s major scale. For example, in the key of C, a chord that is played that starts on C is the 1 chord.
