Last night saw the latest edition of Punchfest, a nonfrequent timelimit based challenge penned by SnappleMan, and seems to happen on an irregular basis. :P The premise for these is that you have 6 hours to make a videogame music arrangement according to the theme specified. For Punchfest 18, the theme was Games Released in 1995. I was definitely spoilt for choice, though ultimately I saw it as a fitting way to return to Ristar, a very underrated Genesis gem :) I saw the chance to give full treatment towards the music heard towards the game s end sequence. All the way through the game, the production values are amongst the best you can witness on the Genesis, and the mood definitely didn t stop there.
