Years later, after rediscovering her old diary from that fateful summer, melancholy Marie returns to her uncle s home in an attempt to quiet the demons that have haunted her ever since. a I started this video halfway through last year but never finished it. I ve been watching Ingmar Bergman s films for the last 12 months and Summer Interlude has been one of my favourites so far. Such a beautiful, heartbreaking, poetic film. Also Birger Malmsten is a babe and more people should see his face.
