Australasian V Drums Contest Final 2011 Caitlin Thomas

Six of the best Roland Vdrummers from Australia and New Zealand were selected to go headtohead in a live onstage battle, held at the VDrum Festival in Sydney on 18th September. The six finalists included Alan Corne Jonathan HardingClark Jason Otene Jacob Randall Steve Smith Caitlin Thomas Special guests Ben Gillies and Johnny Rabb judged the competition, along with representatives from Roland, Allans Music + Billy Hyde and the Rockshop. In what was a tight decision, Jacob Randall was selected as the overall winner and will go on to represent Australasia at the International VDrums World Championships, held at the NAMM Show (Anaheim, California) in January 2012.
