ROCCO Ballet National de Marseille
emio greco I pieter c. scholten un dark ride chorégraphique In ROCCO, the dancers become boxers and the boxers become dancers. The stage becomes a boxing ring and they challenge one another with punches, nifty footwork and clever tactics. They portray the many facets of brotherly and sisterly love: Cain and Abel, Romulus and Remus, Laurel and Hardy, Serena and Venus Williams. In this handtohand fight, the relationships are intensified and the performers head off on a quest to establish their physical and mental limits. Its just like being on a choreographic dark ride.
