Aerial hoop act Ilmatar created choreographed by Milena Oksanen. Inspired by Inspired by Ilmatar from Kalevala, the Finnish National Epic. Ilmatar ( Mother of the Air ) or Luonnotar ( Mother of Nature ), is in Finnish mythology the goddess of air and nature. In the Kalevala, she is Väinämöinen s mother. She travels across the cosmic waters and meets a genie who lays his egg in her lap. The egg turns out to contain all the celestial bodies.
