Hawley 5 String Fretless Acoustic Bass Demo

This is a demonstration of a 5 string fretless acoustic bass guitar. It is a large bodied guitar based on Plan, 13 from the Guild of American Luthiers created by Tim Olsen. The top is sitka spruce, back and sides are mahogany. Bindings and arm rest are macassar ebony. Scale length is 32, 12th position to the body. The audio recording was done with a Zoom H2 digital recorder (that you can see sitting on the table in the video).
