Making an IWB ( Inside the Waistband) Leather Holster, 1911 3 Inch
This video demonstrates my process of making an IWB (Inside the Waistband) style leather holster for a 3 inch 1911. 45 ACP. I start off by making the pattern, including how I dissect the pattern into individual pattern pieces. Then I demonstrate the entire assembly process, from cutting out the leather, to burnishing, sewing, forming, and final finishing. Snap Hardware: TNut: 632 1, 4 Barrel I buy these from two different sources. I get 1, 2 flange from McMaster, or 9, 16 flange Black Oxide from Index Fasteners.
