The Drunken Beauty is one of the most famous masterpieces of the Mei Style of Peking Opera. In Tang Dynasty, the Emperor s favorite concubine, Yang Yuhuan, gets drunk because the Emperor breaks his dating promise. This piece presents the scene in which concubine Yang delightfully goes for the appointment without knowing the Emperor failed to show up. Xinyi plays the role of Yang Yuhuan, the Concubine. The actress wears a phoenix crown, robes for her rank, flake fake hairs, high eyebrows, and a skirt liner.
