On September 16, 22yearold Mahsa Amini died in the custody of Iranian morality police for allegedly breaking strict hijab rules. What followed were protests thatve become the biggest threat to the country s theocracy in more than a decade. TheIran Human Rights grouplatest estimate suggests 201 people have been killed in the protests, including 23children.
