Тин Висл в музыке южноафриканских буров
An early example of the incorporation of the pennywhistle and the kwela (black street music from southern Africa) into boeremusiek (traditional white Afrikaner music). It was also the theme song of a early morning Afrikaans radio program called Flink uit die vere (lit. meaning: Quick out of the feathers Early Birds) by Fanus Rautenbach, a well known radio personality. This recording from the 78rpm by Fred Wooldridge in 1961.
