SODA BOYS Self Titled

Will you be my soda girl This is the Soda Boys, a delectable lil punk rock n roll group from St. Louis. I actually don t know too much about this group. I heard about these guys through Lumpy s Bigcartel, and picked up a their fivetrack demo tape sometime last year. They had some gimmick of handstaining every sleeve with soda, but mine s just kinda pink in the corner. So eh, pretty much gypped. Anyways, I think the group shares members with Animal Teeth and Q, but don t quote me on that. Sorta in the same vein of punkinfused rock jams like Animal Teeth, the group takes a notably lighter approach to the style, instead pandering to spriteful rock n roll with slight touches of poppunk sprinkled throughout. With tuneful rock such as these comes hooks, and boy, does this tape have a load of em. With a lead that legitimately knows how to sing and tantalizing riffs, this is one seriously infectious tape and had me humming its melodies for days after listening. Treat yo
