Campbell has been an advocate for LGBT rights and presented this past April at the 25th annual GLAAD Media Awards where she spoke out in support of Carmen Carrera and the inclusion of trans models in fashion. Campbell joins the cast of FOX s new hit show, Empire, which debuted to high ratings last Wednesday.
