13 years after the masterpiece Out of the Blue album, Jeff Lynne released his first solo album, Armchair Theater. At this point, Jeff had scored a long string of hits as a producer, and this album is packed with his signature sounds. This song is the album opener, and one of my favorites that he s ever done solo, or with ELO. I had to import this German 12 from a seller in Canada to finally add it to my collection, and it s a bit noisier than I d like, but I just take that as proof that it s been played and enjoyed sufficiently.
