On 30th July 1966 at Wembley Stadium in London England met West Germany at the FIFA Football World Cup Final. The team was managed by Alf Ramsey and captained by Bobby Moore. Geoff Hurst provided a hat trick although his third goal was controversial. The event is still one of the most watched events ever on British television.
