The galaxy far, far away is about to get a lot darker. Star Wars: The Acolyte, a new series coming to Disney Plus in 2024, will take viewers into a world of shadowy secrets and emerging darkside powers in the final days of the High Republic era, approximately 100 years before Star Wars: Episode I The Phantom Menace (1999). The series is created by Leslye Headland, who previously cocreated and showran the critically acclaimed Netflix series Russian Doll.
