Through direct and indirect accounts, Vladimir Léon patiently reconstructs the chaotic existence of a free spirit. This film which is an enquiry as much as a meditation on the obscure course of History is a modern epic which sheds light on current affairs in the different countries. Biography: Vladimir Léon, born in 1969, studies Film History and Æsthetic at the Sorbonne University in Paris. In 1998, Loin du front (Far from the Front), a threepart feature film codirected with Harold Manning is released.
