China engaging in very concerning program of military modernisation

China has been engaging in a very concerning program of military modernisation, says Sky News host Sharri Markson. Under Xi Jinping, all of China s universities have come under the control of the military and many of them. .. have classified, military labs operating inside and focus on weapon development, Ms Markson said. It s against this backdrop that the Chinese government began recruiting scientists from Australia and also of course from the US, from New Zealand, under one of their talents programs, the Thousand Talents plan.
