The 7th Congress of the Socialist Women s Union of Korea (SWUK) was held here on June 20 and 21. The platform was taken by Ri Il Hwan, member of the Political Bureau and secretary of the Central Committee of the Workers Party of Korea (WPK), Ri Tu Song, department director of the Central Committee of the WPK, executive members of the Central Committee of the SWUK, chairwomen of the provincial women s union committees, officials in charge of the women s union work at the armed forces organs and exemplary officials and hardcore members of the women s union organizations and officials concerned.
