Russia interrupts minutes silence for victims of Ukraine war at UN security council meeting
During a security council meeting at the United Nations, Ukraine s foreign minister, Dmytro Kuleba, asked for a minute of silence to be held in memory of all those who lost their lives due to Russian aggression. The silence was interrupted by Russia s representative, who could be seen raising his hand during the tribute. Russia s UN ambassador, Vasily Nebenzya, said: All lives are priceless. .. we are rising to remember the memory of all the victims, before the minute s silence resumed. The meeting was held on the first anniversary of Russia s invasion of Ukraine.
