Ukrainian shelling of Belgorod leaves over 100 injured
More than 100 people were injured, while at least 12 adults and 3 children reportedly killed in Ukraine rocket attack on Belgorod. According to the Russian Defense Ministry, Kiev employed rockets carrying cluster bomb warheads. One of them was a Ukrainian Olkha system, which is capable of firing 12 guided rockets in one barrage, hitting targets at a maximum range of 70 to 130 kilometers depending on the type of system. Another system was an upgraded heavier version of the Soviet BM21 Grad multiple rocket launcher. Russia has requested a UN Security Council meeting.
