O Fortuna by Carl Orff But Its AD 476 and Rome Has Fallen
POV: The empire has fallen On the steps of the imperial palace, Odoacer, a Germanic leader, stands triumphant, holding the severed head of Emperor Romulus Augustulus for all to see. His barbarian horde cheers and applauds in approval before they turn their attention to the city at large, pillaging and plundering to their hearts delight. A raging fire soon tears through the capital as mayhem of every sort befalls its citizens. Men yell, women scream and children run in all directions seeking shelter from the murderous barbarians. And you, an elderly senator who hightailed it out of there before the bloodbath began, pause for a moment on the road just outside of the city and watch in horror and dread as the only world you ve ever known crumbles before your very eyes. IG: thewaywardpoet Hello everyone and a very happy Friday to you all I hope you have a great weekend ahead. This one just sort of came to me earlier this afternoon and I knew I simply had to put it together.
