Subscribe In 1995 Dutch DJ, producers duo Tim Hoogesteger and Mischa van der Heiden released an EP with a few tracks on Mischa s label XTrax. One of the tracks on the EP was the acid, techno track Access. And that one became a massive hit in the clubs, plus in March 1996, it even made it to the, 16 position in the UK Singles Chart During the years Access got rereleased plenty of times, also with new remixes. A few of the names that remixed Access are Red Jerry, Secret Cinema, John Askew, Thomas Schumacher and Steve Stoll amongst others. Because of the 25th anniversary of Access I sat down with the guys, in Mischa s beautiful mastering studio, to ask them about the story behind this classic.
