Pedigree Dogs (1956)
M, S of a woman, Margaret Hazelman, coming out of her house in Petworth, Surrey, carrying two buckets, a tin and a feeder bottle; she walks to the side of the house where lots of bowls and troughs are laid out along a small wall. She spoons food from one of the buckets into the bowls, then an elderly man is seen opening the door to a shed and numerous dogs of different breeds come running out over to the bowls and start eating (some cats are also seen in the scurry). Margaret picks up a little Boxer puppy called Gussy and sits further down on the wall to feed him with a bottle; C, U of the pup he s quite cute. C, Us of the other dogs eating at bowls; C, U of a Siamese cat curled up in a basket with a Chihuahua. Commentator tells us Margaret breeds dogs and specialises in 12 pedigrees.
