Old Crusty Step Stool Restoration

I saw this stool one day while perusing the electronic bay and immediately decided I needed to buy and restore it. I spent way too much money for this hunk of junk, but I have zero regrets. This restoration turned out a lot cooler than I expected when I started. It might be one of the only projects from my restoration videos that I use on a regular basis. I didn t really have a plan going into this restoration as far as how I was going to remove the rust and whether I was going to paint or polish it. Once I stripped away all the old crusty paint and rust I saw some beautiful brazing work. I felt like I couldn t cover up this brazing and it actually ended up inspiring me to do some tig brazing myself. Anyway watch the video. The rest of the restoration is self explanatory.
