LIVE from a Soviet Fishing Vessel

This was a special gig. The crew of MS Stubnitz are special people. They welcomed us, fed us and were generally wonderful. We partied with them after the show and we stayed in a cabin on the boat that night. The history of this boat is fascinating. It s been traveling round the world, mooring in harbours and ports and holding raves in its hull. There is no vessel in its category from the 1960 s still in active operation. It s previous life as a fishing trawler alone is notable, it s a piece of history and an honour to play on it, but it s recent history, fro its restoration to present day tracks the history of underground music.
