Assignment, 6 Ethan Howard The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly

I decided to choose this scene because I wanted to create and design anticipation around a climax. The constant drone sound that lays over this scene creates this eerie tension between the three gunsman, and each of them are given a distinct tone that represents who they are in relation to each other. We hear tapping and stampeding in the background to create a sort of anticipation as these three men look around each other getting ready to shoot. I tried to round out the sound with some wind and natural room tone as well. When they shoot we silence the score and we use silence to bring the audience to the edge of their seat before the big climax.
