A New Bathing Note For Eve (1929)
Introductory intertitle reads: Rows of tents like this may be a thing of the past soon for the ladies L, S of a sea front promenade covered with changing tents, seen from the slope behind. C, U of one of the tents a stripy one with a deck chair in front of it. The tent flaps are opened and a girl in a swimsuit steps out. She takes a coat off the deck chair and wraps it around herself. Through a camera dissolve, the woman disappears. Another woman comes round the front of the tent from behind. A man peeks out of a little space at the top of the tent flaps. This new fourpiece outdoorcumbathingsuit dispenses with a tent C, U of the woman as she waves to off screen friends. She then begins to undress. She takes off her tabard and then her skirt, revealing a swimsuit underneath. Just slip out and slip She takes off her hat and is ready to go. Short segment possibly incomplete.
