There are lots of crossborder friendships and in some sense, it is these friendships that build understanding between people from different countries and make the world a better place. They had met at art school in Milan, and Lei convinced Jovana and Christoph of make the move to China. One weekend Lei, Christoph and Jovana rode their bikes into the countryside surrounding Hangzhou and found a paperumbrella workshop.
