Larry Goldings Hammond B3 organ, Peter Bernstein guitar, Bill Stewart drums Larry Goldings has a unique style on the Hammond B3 organ, with which he could be heard alongside John Scofield, Maceo Parker and Norah Jones. More cool than sweat, but certainly not without feel, is how Dutch daily NRC described his trio with guitarist Peter Bernstein and drummer Bill Stewart. All three play equally important parts in their brilliant melting pot of groove, melody and swing. These phenomenal American musicians have been playing as a trio for thirty years. Peter Bernstein made name as a guitarist playing with Sonny Rollins. Bill Stewart is a great example for jazz drummers since he played with John Scofield and Chris Potter. 2022 saw the release of their most recent album Perpetual Pendulum on Smoke Sessions, the label connected to the infamous Smoke Jazz Club in New York.
