33 Year Old KC 10 Extender Final Flight To The Boneyard

After more than 33 years in service, KC10 Extender number 860036 makes its final flight to the Boneyard (309th Aerospace Maintenance and Regeneration Group) at DavisMonthan Air Force Base, AZ, on July 13, 2020. The flight began at Joint Base McGuireDixLakehurst, NJ, and included a ceremonial water bath to mark the first retirement of 59 Extenders intended for eventual replacement by the KC46A Pegasus.
