Canoo Ers (1931)

No title. Various shots of people punting and canoeing on a river. Various shots of a group of canoeists on the river it could be a race. We then follow some canoeists who canoe two to a boat. We then see foursomes four to a canoe. These are more like rowing boats. The boats are rowed along looks like women rowers. Two teams race. A small group of yachts move across the water. M, S of group of smartly dressed ladies in tea dresses with parasols and floppy hats. We see a race where paddlers use dinner plates to propel their boats through the water. Look to be teams of young people. Some of the boats sink. Could be a regatta on a part of the Thames doesn t look like Henley though. Was an item in Pathe Pictorial issue number 695.
