Witnessing the Birth of a Distant Cluster of Galaxies ( ESOcast Light 259)

Using ALMA, astronomers have detected a large reservoir of hot gas in the stillforming galaxy cluster around the Spiderweb galaxy the most distant detection of such hot gas yet.
