Seymour Hersh questions US medias reluctance to report on Nord Stream sabotage

Awardwinning U. S. journalist Seymour Hersh has questioned the apparent reluctance of the U. S. media to pursue the explosive story of alleged sabotage in last September s Nord Stream blasts. In an article published on U. S. portal Substack early last month, Hersh claimed that U. S. divers had installed explosives under the Nord Stream pipelines during the NATO BALTOPS (Baltic Operations) military exercise last June before detonating them three months later. Hersh was critical of the distinct lack of coverage the story has received in the West and the seemingly sluggish response by authorities in the region following the blasts. Hersh believes there could be politics at play in the decision of the mainstream media not to investigate the story deeper. He also questioned why a number of other key officials in the Biden administration, who he believes must have insider knowledge of the incident, have remained silent.
