White Reaper, Live from Rolling Stones Studios
White Reaper turned up the volume for a ninesong set from Rolling Stone s Studios in New York City. In anticipation of the release of their new record, Asking for a Ride, the Louisvillebased group blasted through Bozo, Pink Slip, Pages, and Fog Machine for the firsttime live instudio. Adding to the unforgettable set, the band sprinkled in hits from their previous two releases, The World s Best American Band and You Deserve Love. Speaking with Rolling Stone, guitarist Hunter Thompson said of the recording process for the new album, the record s simple and kind of contained, so there isn t this massive chasm between what we record and what we I think has paid off in how the songs feel White Reaper s new album, Asking for a Ride, is out now on Elektra Records and the group goes on tour starting February 7th at The Burl in Lexington, Kentucky.
