IT S NOT STAR WARS In the 90s, I bought the CD soundtrack for Dennis Potter s Pennies From Heaven and on it was an amazing 1932 song called My Woman, by Lew Stone And The Monseigneur Band, vocal by Al Bowlly. (This itself was a cover of the original by none other than Bing Crosby ) And that song started with a beautiful trumpet My track was the first to sample that catchy hook and it s now been sampled by Dua Lipa in her new track Love Again. Your Woman reached number 1 in the charts in the UK, Spain and Iceland, and was Top 10 in 12 other countries as well as reaching number 23 in the US Billboard chart.
