Milky Chance Cocoon ( Lyric Video)

Heres the official lyric video for our 2016 single Cocoon, taken from our second album Blossom. It was created by Brazilian visual artist Paulo H. Lange. I chose this song Cocoon because sometimes we have to build ways to protect ourselves and our feelings, but in the end we end up closing ourselves off; in these moments, sharing our thoughts and feelings with the ones we trust allows us to reach for the outside world. I wanted to use my own hands to conceive a stopmotion animation that would incorporate the idea of inside versus outside while in the process of making it. I punctured the lyrics into the dark making them appear as the radiant light breaks in or out depending on ones perspective.
