This video assembles the states and rulers of the Holy Roman Empire in 1648. The music is called Our Destiny by Two Steps From Hell Q A : 1 Why 1648 I chose to show the HRR after the Peace of Westphalia because the nonGerman states had just left the Empire and the number of small states was high at that time. 2 Is this video showing every single state of the HRE of 1648 The video is intended to give an overview and to be enjoyable. That s why, for example, the territories of the Imperial Knights or the Wild and Rhinegraves were grouped together. The lineages of the highly fragmented houses that ruled over a divided state were also put together. Furthermore, some very small territories, such as the Imperial Villages, are not all shown. Nevertheless, the video still covers the most important states. Due to lack of information, the first 100 states are shown without their rulers.
