Land of Mist and Wonder

Land of Mist and Wonder is an English Country Dance devised by Gary Roodman, and published in A Combination of Calculated Figures of 2018: It is a 4 couple longways dance with the 1s and 3s improper. The tune, called Mylne s Court was composed by Rachael Bell. It was performed by Cilantrio (Karen Axelrod, Kate Barnes, and Mary Lea). The recording comes from the album Mr. Roodman s Fancies which was given to me by and is used with permission of Gary Roodman. The animation plays at 110 counts per minute normally, but the first time through the set the dance is slowed down so people can learn the moves more readily. Men are drawn as rectangles, women as ellipses. Each couple is drawn in its own color, however the border of each dancer indicates what role they currently play so the border color may change each time through the minor set.
