Steve leads country programs for humanitarian organizations. After graduating from the United States Military Academy at West Point, he became a captain in the US Army based at Caserma Ederle (Vicenza, Italy). After a mission in Iraq, Steve left the US Army and completed a Master Degree in Pure Mathematics at the University of Padova in Italy. He then returned to Iraq to work for Mercy Corps, a humanitarian organization. He now leads several country programs for Lebanon, Yemen, Libya and Egypt working with
