This classic doo wop recording, Devil or Angel, written by Blanche Carter, was recorded by the Clovers in 1955 for Atlantic Records, reaching number 4 on the Billboard Pop Chart in 1956. Bobby Vee s cover in 1960 is almost a note by note copy. The original can be found on The Very Best of the Clovers CD on Rhino.
