Weather in My Own Backyard, Chasing Arizona, Trailer

I ve spent most of my life living on the edge of tornado alley. It was there in the Midwest that I discovered my passion for weather. While I thought I left all the weather behind, when I moved to Arizona, I quickly discovered that my passion is fueled by more then just the weather. It is fueled by both landscapes and weather. However, Arizona isnt necessarily known for its weather, and weather isnt something we have an abundance of. It really is especially hard not to notice the incredible weather out on the Plains, especially since that time of year is typically our driest. Its tough seeing all the beautiful weather captured by some of the world s best photographers and storm chasers, while we enjoy cloudless blue skies here in Arizona. But, in the midst of finding myself somewhat depressed, Mother Nature threw Arizona a nice May surprise. That surprise were some thunderstorms, including an electric thunderstorm. The storm lasted all night, and helped me rediscover where my passion for weather is really
