Flashing Joule Thief useing Capacitance to control frequency: 12 17 2010
View, Print Circuit Drawing: A typical Joule Thief circuit with 2 capacitors creates a Flashing LED. By changing the capacitance across the resistor you can control the frequency of flashing from very slow to a very high frequency. This video seems to show a slight hesitation in the LED flashing at times, whereas to the naked eye this was not observed, and was is the difference in timeing between the frequency of the LED verses the Digital camera frames
