(Владимир Ашкенази Шопен Этюды) Vladimir Ashkenazy plays Chopin Etudes op. 25 and mazurka live 1962

Vladimir Ashkenazy playing Chopin s 12 etudes, op. 25, with Mazurka op. 30 no. 4 as an encore, live at the 1962 Dubrovnik Summer Festival. This was shortly after he triumphed at the Tchaikovsky competition. The photo shows Ashkenazy with Dmitri Sakharov and their teacher Anaida Sumbatyan.
