Southport is in mourning after a shocking stabbing attack on Monday that left three young children dead and several others critically injured. Merseyside Police have identified the innocent lives lost: Bebe King, six, Elsie Dot Stancombe, seven, and Alice Dasilva Aguiar, nine. Five other children and two adults are fighting for their lives. A 17yearold boy is in custody, but police urge the public to ignore rampant speculation and incorrect names circulating online. Heartbroken residents gathered for a vigil on Tuesday afternoon to pay respect to the victims with a minute s silence. However, chaos erupted hours later near the scene. A van was torched, police officers were injured, and looters ransacked local shops.
